Single Family Homes Only

Briarwood Subdivision is a Single-Family Home Community. You are breaking our Covenants and the Dorchester County Ordinances if you are a renter and are sub-renting your home out to others who are not members of your family. The homeowner will be notified with a warning and fines, and Dorchester County will also be Notified. If you drive a small commercial truck or van, you are required to park on the side of your house or the rear when you are at home at night. There have been many violations of this Covenant and in one case, a home has had 3 commercial trucks parked out front their home every night. Which would also signal more than a single family is living there. You will be warned and fined!

Hello Briarwood!
It has been suggested that we make modifications to the current covenants.  We will be going over and voting on said modifications at the March HOA meeting. Once we have the approved list a final vote will be done by ballot. Each homeowner will receive a ballot to cast their vote.







PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE BYLAWS
These were discussed at the September meeting and will be voted on at the October 18, 2022 meeting

ARTICLE IV OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS
Section 3, Page 3- Propose that board positions run for a period of (2) two years vs the now (1) year clause.

ARTICLE VI MEETINGS
Section 2, Page 7-Propose quarterly meetings with homeowners vs monthly.  Board of Directors will continue to meet on a monthly basis. Quarterly meetings with residents to be March,, June, September and December.

Disbursement of funds will be made by checks to be signed by the Treasurer and the President
